Eminem, Lady Gaga and Arcade Fire are among the scheduled performers for the first YouTube Music Awards, slated to take place November 3.

Eminem is set to join Lady Gaga and Arcade Fire in the first YouTube Music Awards, scheduled to take place November 3. The award show, which is slated to be directed by Spike Jonze, is set to feature actor Jason Schwartzman as the host. The event is also slated to be livestreamed via YouTube.

Eminem, who is readying the release of his upcoming album The Marshall Mathers LP 2, is scheduled to be joined by other performers on the bill, some who made their name on YouTube. Lindsey Sterline and CDZA are among the other scheduled acts.

YouTube’s first award show is also slated to feature musical events from different parts of the world, including South Korea, Russia, London and Brazil. The show, set to be a 90-minute production, is slated to take place at Pier 36 in New York, New York.

Nominees for the still unnamed categories are slated to be announced October 17. Fans are set to vote on the winners.

“We’re setting out to create a night that’s all about making things and creativity in the spirit of everyone that uses YouTube,” director Spike Jonze said in a statement. “As well as giving out awards, we’ll be making live music videos. The whole night should feel like a YouTube video itself. We’re getting together a group of amazing artists and filmmakers to do this live.”
